Refund Policy

Alacrity Academy Refund Policy

 

  1. If Alacrity Academy receives tuition from the student, or a person on behalf of the student, the institution will refund the student, or the person who paid on behalf of the student, the tuition that was paid in relation to the Online Bootcamp in which the student is enrolled if:
      1. the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student no later than seven days after the course start date and/or the student has viewed or participated in less than the first 25% of the hours of instruction provided during the contract term;
      2. the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student or the student’s parent or legal guardian no later than seven days after the course start date  and/or the student has viewed or participated in less than the first 25% of the hours of instruction provided during the contract term.
  2. Alacrity Academy reserves the right to retain 30% of tuition under the student enrolment agreement if the student has viewed or participated in more than 25% of the hours of instruction within seven days after the course start date.
  3. Alacrity Academy will refund the tuition for all related fees paid by the student or a person on behalf of the student enrolled in the program if the student is enrolled in the program without having met the admission requirements and did not misrepresent his or her knowledge or skills when applying for admission.
  4. If Alacrity Academy receives a notice of withdrawal from a student:
    1. more than seven days after the course start date
      1. and a student has viewed or participated in the first 5% of the hours of instruction provided during the contract term, Alacrity Academy reserves the right to  retain 30% of the tuition paid under the student enrolment agreement.
      2. and a student has viewed or participated in the first 25% of the hours of instruction provided during the contract term, Alacrity Academy reserves the right to may retain up to 50% of the tuition paid under the student enrolment agreement.
  5. Refunds required under this policy will be paid to the student, or a person who paid the tuition or fees on behalf of the student, within 30 days:
    1. of the date Alacrity Academy receives a student’s request for a refund,
    2. of the date Alacrity Academy provides a notice of dismissal to the student.
